Everything time tracking on issues needs

Built for people who think of their day in tickets and don't want to fill in timesheets.

A stopwatch per issue

Start, stop, carry on. Every tracked minute is attached to the right ticket.

Search issues directly

Find tickets by searching the connected system instead of typing in keys.

Log time back

Tracked time ends up in your tracker as a worklog or "time spent". With GitLab, optionally as a comment too.

Parallel tracks

Run several stopwatches at once, say for a meeting and a ticket. Configurable per tracker.

Reports

Daily, monthly and yearly reports with charts. See at a glance where your time went.

Android & browser

The same data on your phone and at your desk. The web app can be installed as a PWA.

Ready in three steps

  1. Create an account

Sign up with your email address or Google account, in the app or in the browser.

  2. Connect a tracker

Enter the URL and credentials of your tracker, a token or username and password depending on the system. They are stored encrypted.

  3. Start the stopwatch

Search for the issue, let the clock run, done. Issue Stopwatch takes care of logging it.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get an access token for GitLab?

Open your user settings in your GitLab instance, go to "Access Tokens" and create a token with the api scope. Enter it in the tracker settings of Issue Stopwatch.

Why is issue search on gitlab.com slow?

The GitLab API searches all issues you have access to, not only those in your project. On an instance as large as gitlab.com, that takes a little longer.

The web app can't log time to Jira Server. What can I do?

Jira Server only allows external requests from approved domains. Add https://issue-stopwatch.web.app to the whitelist in the Jira administration and enable "Allow Incoming".

What do I need for Jira Cloud?

An API token for your Atlassian account. Create it in the security settings of your Atlassian profile and enter it in the tracker together with your email address.

What do I need to know about YouTrack?

Time tracking must be enabled in the YouTrack project. To sign in, use a permanent token from your YouTrack profile.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Settings → Profile → "Delete Account". This deletes your account and your stored data.

Stop filling in time after the fact.
